This is because the developer opted for higher floor-to-ceiling heights, thereby creating a more spacious and comfortable living environment. Kingspan Insulated Panels
Our team undertook a comprehensive cladding project for a car park, involving the setup of swing stages, gantry platforms, and scaffolding on each side. We removed the existing metal sandwich panel cladding and installed new non-combustible insulation and sarking.
In collaboration with Kingspan, we designed and installed Kingspan 1000 Evolution panels with a 50mm core depth in various cover widths, using concealed fixings and caulking/flashing as needed.
The project aimed to restore the building's insurance premium by demonstrating compliance with the Building Code of Australia (BCA). Stakeholder engagement was crucial, requiring acceptance from the Building Appeals Board, fire brigade, insurer, fire compliance certifier, and the building's owners' corporation and residents.
