Rod Laver Arena cladding involved over 1,000 tessellated triangular panels with intricate curves, necessitating precise, individualised manufacturing. Our design team created a bespoke 3D model to ensure the architectural vision was realised, developing a solution that seamlessly interfaced with the building’s steel structure.
Our manufacturing approach utilised “Mega Facade Modules”, up to 14m long, transported to the site as individual units for streamlined installation. Each element was carefully numbered and tracked during manufacturing for accuracy. Lightweight framing components with “slip-tolerance” fittings were employed for precise mounting and the integrity of the facade.
